About Us

Built for Everyone Who
Touches a Wire

ElectraSim started from a simple question: why is there no free, modern, browser-based tool for learning and simulating household electrical circuits?

Our Mission

ElectraSim exists to make electrical circuit education free, accessible, and interactive. Whether you're a student studying for an exam, a teacher preparing a classroom demo, an electrician planning a wiring layout, or simply a curious person who wants to understand why flipping a switch turns on a light — ElectraSim is built for you.

We believe the best way to learn electricity is to see it in action. That's why every component in ElectraSim behaves exactly as it would in the real world: switches break circuits, MCBs trip on overload, bulbs glow when current flows, and faults light up in red so you can diagnose them immediately.

What We Stand For

🔓

Always Free

No paywalls, no premium tiers, no ads. ElectraSim is and will remain 100% free for everyone.

🔒

Privacy First

Your circuits stay in your browser. No account required, no data sent to our servers, no tracking cookies.

Performance

60fps simulation on any modern device. Offline-capable PWA. Instant load. No installation ever.

📖

Education First

Every feature is designed to teach, not just simulate. Real fault detection, real component behaviour.

How It's Built

ElectraSim is a fully client-side web application. Your browser does all the work — no data ever leaves your device. The circuit simulation engine is written in TypeScript and runs in a dedicated Web Worker so the UI stays smooth at 60 fps no matter how complex your circuit gets.

The rendering layer supports both a lightweight SVG renderer and an optional PixiJS WebGL renderer for high-density circuits. The site and blog are built with Astro for maximum SEO and performance, with content managed through Sveltia CMS.
